oh man i ADORE ghibli films. why haven't i heard of this coming in theaters until now.

so excite eeeeee. must see this, it looks so cute and happy and giddy and nice. i love happy movies. studio ghibli is so great.

I just hate the american dubs for all the Ghibli films. they manage to find the worst voice actors for them or something, lol... it loses all it's substance

like when I was a kid, I used to watch Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke with my english-speaking buddies, and I used to look forward to it like crazy
but then they turned it on and it was in english.
and I like... almost cried. it sucked that bad. xD

yes indeed! i am getting kind of tired of those disney pixar movies. i miss the traditional animation, like with the old disney movies, and of course the ghibli films.
eee ponyo looks so cute i am feeling tingly inside.

i'm pretty excited for the princess and the frog, too, because it's based in new orleans and I live around there. it looks like a nice little movie so far. i hope it comes out well.

i usually watch my movies in Japanese too.


but,

i disagree on the bad voice acting.


i think they have great voice overs.


i've seen some anime where the english is not even tolerable.
